Colleagues

A female student walks down the street of a college town. She had a stressful day and is dying to smoke a cigarette, but her lighter simply won't work. Then she notices a few young women hanging out on street corner. She's shy, but eventually works up a courage to approach them. Out of nervousness she blurts out:

**Dear colleagues, I was wondering if you had a light?**

One of the women produces a lighter, and the student walks away, puffing away happily. The women watch her go, and finally one remarks:
**Puts out once, and now we're "colleagues"...**
