The car stood ¡n the darkness of a deserted road. Directing the beam from his flashlight onto the automobile, a newly assigned policeman approached the car. When he came close enough to see inside the car, he found a guy and his girl silently sìtting in the front seat.

“Dead battery?” he asked the boy.

“No,” the boy replied, glaring at his girl companion,“flat tire!”
