This happened to me tonight:

I was in a restaurant bathroom and a guy let out a pretty normal fart, which he immediately followed up by saying "sorry guys..."

I was telling my wife about how weird it was that someone felt the need to apologize for a normal bathroom function.
Without missing a beat, she asked: "...did he sound deflated?"
